Duplicate Slips to Multiple Clients (Premium only) Slip duplication allows users to quickly assign a single slip for a client to multiple additional clients. Time or expense entries that use substantially the same values for multiple clients can be quickly and easily created to streamline the billing process. |

Enter Payments from Accounts Receivable List Users can click on an invoice entry on the Accounts Receivable list and apply a payment directly to that invoice without having to open the invoice transaction first. |

Enhanced and More Granular Security System The security system had been redesigned with more advanced password settings, including minimum length and the ability to require specific characters. You can now select which timekeepers each user can view and enter slips for. You can also choose which reports each user has access to. |

LawPay Timeslips now integrates with LawPay, a popular credit card processing solution. When emailing bills, you can now include payment links on the email message that allow your clients to pay you using LawPay. You can easily review LawPay transactions when you open Timeslips. |
||
Invoice Details New fields on the invoice transaction screen allow you to view much more detail including the number and date range of slips included, as well as timekeeper contributions and billing arrangements. Easily re-print the bill or a list of the slips included on the bill. |

Client Contacts Timeslips can now track Client Contacts, people or organizations that you want to track but they are not clients and you will not be sending bills to them. You can associate contacts with one or more of your clients. |
||
Reports Several reports have been updated to increase performance. The Funds Account Listing report now includes a grand total so you know the total amount you have in all client funds accounts. Several lists throughout Timeslips include a Print icon, allowing you to print a quick report. You can now choose whether these reports appear on-screen or print directly to a printer. |

TAL Pro (Timeslips Accounting Link), for connecting to accounting software such as Quickbooks or Sage 50/Peachtree, has been completely re-designed. Easily connect to your accounting package as needed, or disable the TAL Pro link with a new link at the bottom of the Timeslips window. Enhancements include new account categories, simplified assignment of accounts, improved posting process, the ability to reviewing past postings, improved linking of names and enhancements to slip creation. | ||
TSTimer has been replaced with a new application called TimeCapture which can track time automatically, based on the applications and windows that you access on your workstation. You can then convert all entries or specific entries into time slips for reporting and billing. | ||
New preferences have been added that help slip creation. New slips can automatically select the logged in timekeeper and also pull in data from other open windows. For example, if the Client List is open and client ABC is highlighted, when you create a new slip, client ABC can automatically be selected. | ||
The Slip List has been redesigned with several new features. It now includes a new filter at the top that allows you to show the last X number of slips entered, which can speed up performance in large databases. You can also now change the fields displayed on the Slip List using Field Themes and control whether several areas on the list are displayed or not. When printing from lists, you can now select the printer used to print the report. | ||

Images can be scanned directly from the slip entry window and attached to the slip “on the fly”. |

Process client payment transactions (credit cards and electronic checks) automatically right from within the payments screen, using Sage’s secure “Payment Vault”. Specify “Payment Type” for the transaction via a drop-down list. |

A new custom naming convention is now available for bills and statements emailed to clients. Where previously all bills and statements had the same file name, you can now include individual client names, invoice numbers, or invoice dates with data tokens. |

Improved security measures in Sage Timeslips 2011 now offer the option to restrict slip entry completely on those clients who have that option checked. You can now choose to either “warn” or “restrict” slip entry on a client-by-client basis. |

In Sage Timeslips 2011 you can now create up to 90 custom fields for Clients, Timekeepers, Tasks, and Expenses. This allows you to use more than one electronic billing format per database and insure that there are sufficient custom fields available for reporting purposes, as well. You can even create up to six different custom field “groups” to better organize and categorize these custom fields. |

You now have more control over how calculations are done for subtotals and grand totals in user-defined reports. New in Sage Timeslips 2011, you can choose how each field is calculated. Take more control over these values by using the sum as the total or use a custom formula to provide subtotals or grand totals. |
